How to Project Confidence, Deter Criminals, and Stay Sharp
Steve Woolridge’s Krav Maga & Fitness Center

👀 Awareness

  • Keep your head up and eyes scanning—don’t bury yourself in your phone.

  • Notice exits, blind spots, and who’s around you.

  • Trust your gut—if something feels wrong, it probably is.

🚶 Body Language

  • Walk with purpose—stride fluid and coordinated.

  • Shoulders back, chest up—look like you belong.

  • Make brief eye contact with people around you (not a stare-down, but acknowledgment).

🧠 Mindset

  • Assume no one is coming to save you—you are your own first responder.

  • Practice confidence, even when you don’t feel it—fake it until it becomes real.

  • Decide now that if you’re attacked, you will fight back hard.

🥊 Training Habits

  • Train consistently (minimum once per week).

  • Refresh basics often—strikes, defenses, situational drills.

  • Pressure test yourself in realistic scenarios (bags, partners, stress drills).

  • Keep fitness sharp—strength, speed, and endurance matter.

📅 Action Steps

  • Sign up for regular Krav Maga classes.

  • Pair training with a workout routine that builds strength + mobility via our weekly Conditioning classes.

  • Revisit this checklist monthly to stay accountable.

Remember: Criminals choose easy targets. Don’t look like one. Don’t move like one. Don’t be one.
